Our Facilities

Our electrical training facility is based in Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 1AW within the Avondale Business Centre. The Training Suite has the latest electrical test equipment from leading manufacturers such Megger and Fluke along with simulated electrical test boards, built to the highest standards using electrical components from leading manufactures such as MK, Crabtree, Hager and Wylex.  These facilities support the practical aspects on our range of City & Guilds Inspection & Testing Courses run at the centre. 
 

The training suite provides a traditional yet comfortable learning environment with fully equipped audio visual capabilities such as DLP projector/screen, whiteboard, Video/DVD subscription to navigaitor productions vast range of up to date presentations and video content from the 'Learning Lounge', professional audio mixer and PA through Class D amplified speakers. Our practical sessions include access to a range of electrical laboratory experiments and exercises along with hands on construction in our new electrical workshops. Practical sessions are strictly limited to 10 delegates to maintain the highest levels of teaching and learning along with focused tutorial support and one to one sessions if required.  The candidates computers are connected to a dedicated leased openreach fibre broadline service supplied from the business centre  to conduct City & Guilds online examinations and access external sources from the cloud. The main benefit of this is stability of service and of course examination results  with feedback shortly after the examination. 
We will provide all candidates with ample refreshment during sessions (tea/coffee etc).The Avondale Business Centre has Ample free on site parking and the centre is easily reached from the M32.  Lodge Causeway is only a 5 minute walk away and offers a wide range of shops should candidates wish to purchase a hot/cold snack etc.
